Let's go swimming, an exploration of art.

I love swimming. I love pools and the ocean and waterfalls and any body of water. Unfortunately, this time of year is not necessarily conducive to swimming.

So I'm pretending.

And in that spirit, here's what's going up at mi casa.

This is a print from the very talented Samantha French, and it was a gift for Christmas from my mom. I love it.

Words, in fact, can not express how much I love this print. It reminds me of summer and swimming and my parents' pool and suntan lotion and warm weather. It's everything wonderful all in one frame.

Mulligan and Leonard like it, too.

Or perhaps they think I am holding a treat.

I also was wandering around a store last night and ran across this poster, which I almost bought on the spot, just because.

No lie, I could probably name every single episode depicted on this poster by name. Is that sad? Perhaps it is sad. Although I think it's pretty awesome, and I can tell you that I kick ass at Friends Scene It. Friends completes me. I think I have unagi.

"Ooh! You know what? If we made reservations, we could have unagi in about a half hour."

The little dudes aren't too sure about this one.

"Where in the world would you hang it?" they're asking.

Or perhaps they're waiting for Boy to return from the depths of the basement. I'm sure it's one of those things.

Have a great weekend, everybody!

I like the swimming one, even though I don't share your love of actual swimming. Too much sun exposure = pain.
